Bob combines IBM’s own Granite models with external LLMs like Anthropic’s Claude, Meta’s Llama, and Mistral to assist developers working in RPG, CL, SQL, COBOL, Java, and Python. Delivered as a Visual Studio Code plug‑in, it can explain, refactor, generate, test, and modernize code and understands IBM i specifics, including performance and security considerations.
