Palo Alto Networks to Acquire Observability Leader Chronosphere for $3.35B
Palo Alto Networks is buying observability platform Chronosphere for $3.35 billion in cash and equity to deepen its AI-era capabilities. The deal will integrate Chronosphere’s always-on, scalable data infrastructure with Palo Alto’s Cortex AgentiX platform, enabling real-time, agent-driven remediation and massive-scale visibility. Chronosphere reported over $160 million in annual recurring revenue and high-growth momentum. The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of Palo Alto’s fiscal 2026.
