Red Hat Acquires Israeli AI Startup Jounce to Enhance Open-Source Cloud Offerings

IBM’s Red Hat has acquired Israeli AI startup Jounce for approximately $20 million. Founded in 2024 by alumni of Israel’s elite Unit 8200, Jounce developed a modular platform for deploying and managing complex AI systems, emphasizing flexibility, security, and cost-efficiency. The acquisition aims to integrate Jounce’s technology into Red Hat’s open-source ecosystem, enhancing its AI cloud capabilities across various industries
