Sectigo Launches PQC Labs for Post-Quantum Cryptography Testing

Sectigo has introduced Sectigo PQC Labs, a platform developed in partnership with Crypto4A to facilitate the transition to post-quantum cryptography. This sandbox environment aligns with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, enabling organizations to test and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic certificates within their existing infrastructures. Sectigo PQC Labs addresses threats like "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" and concerns about long-lived digital signatures. Kevin Weiss, Sectigo's CEO, emphasizes the platform's role in preparing organizations for quantum-era security challenges. The collaboration with Crypto4A ensures robust key management through quantum-safe Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). CEO Bruno Couillard of Crypto4A highlights the urgency of transitioning to new cryptographic algorithms, noting NIST's 2030 deadline to deprecate current standards. Sectigo PQC Labs offers a secure environment for organizations to test and integrate post-quantum cryptographic principles, strengthening their security posture against future quantum threats.
