Delinea Joins CVE Numbering Authority Program
Delinea, a leading provider of identity security solutions, has been authorized as a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA) by the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE®) Program. This designation allows Delinea to identify and assign CVE Identifiers (CVE IDs) to newly discovered vulnerabilities in its software, enhancing its ability to address security threats efficiently.
The CVE Program, sponsored by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and operated by MITRE Corporation, aims to catalog publicly disclosed cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Delinea joins over 420 organizations from 40 countries in this community-driven effort. As a CNA, Delinea will contribute to the CVE List, helping IT and cybersecurity professionals coordinate their efforts and address vulnerabilities effectively, leading to significant time and cost savings.
Phil Calvin, Chief Product Officer at Delinea, emphasized the importance of this role in strengthening global cybersecurity and ensuring the reliability of Delinea's identity security solutions. For more information on Delinea’s responsible disclosure program, visit its Trust Center.
